Captain/relief captain

I am collecting my sailing practice for the STCW Captain (Yacht) 500 GT level.
My commercial certificates are STCW Captain (Yacht) 200GT/OOW 500GT (Maritime Office in Gdynia, Poland), RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed & Transport Malta Endorsement - Master of commercial vessels less than 50 meters and less than 500 GT operating solely in territorial waters of Malta.
All my certificates including STCW, GOC GMDSS, and ENG1 docs are valid.
Since the second half of May 2024, I have been a skipper of day charters in Malta, Comino, and Gozo. In August 2023, I served as a captain (temporary contract) on a 36-metre sailing yacht (180 GT ketch under the flag of Jamaica) along Malta, Gozo, and Sicily. From 14 November 2022 to 21 May 2023, I was captain of a 43-metre classic schooner 163GT (I have been working with this owner since 2006).
I have served twice as OOW or chief mate on 41 and 46-meter motor yachts in Italy under the Maltese flag (around Loano and Imperia; end-of-season sailing, maintenance, and shipyard work). I also have experience running smaller monohulls and catamarans up to 22 meters (eg. J-140, Jongert, Conrad, CNB66, Lagoon, Fountain Pajot, Jeanneau, Beneteau).
Over the last 20 years, I have worked with various charter and yacht management agencies operating in the Baltic, Mediterranean, and Canary Islands.

Education: Qualified Photographer, M.A. degree in Teaching Fine Arts and Photography, post-graduate (macro-economy, programming, and database management).
