crew looking for transatlantic passage west to east 2022-2023

My name is Erin, I’m 21 and I'm from the North of Scotland. I am currently cycling down the west coast of South America from Colombia to Argentina. When I have finished, around January 2023, I would like to find a boat crossing the Atlantic west to east to return home. Preferably from South America somewhere but generally somewhere on this side of the ocean might also work :) So anyone crossing the Atlantic west to east after December 2023 and needs crew let me know.

About me:
I am an enthusiastic person, I value having fun, I love doing new things and spending time with people, although I also like having time by myself. I like doing outdoor activities like climbing, hiking, cycling, kayaking and sailing of course. I know that the outdoors has its own will and I am comfortable when things don't happen the way we want them to.

Relevant skills:
Sailing experience: I still have lots to learn, but I sailed from North Spain to Colombia, passing through multiple islands in the Caribbean on the way, in 2022, and so learnt a lot during those passages. So far I have loved all the different parts of sailing, I have had to swim down to untangle the propeller from a lobster pot, I was on a boat that group of orcas attacked/decided to play with, by breaking the rudder off, and have had to quickly change sails (we didn't have a roller furling foresail) during squalls in the carribean. I am happy to do night watches and I dont get seasick. I would say my knowledge of sailing is intermediate and I am very motivated to improve it.

Cooking: I like to cook, during the east to west transatlantic passage I did most of the cooking and am happy to work in the galley.

Childcare: If you have children, I have experience as an outdoor activity leader for children aged 7-10, teaching them climbing, swimming and orienteering, and I am happy to entertain your children.

Fair winds to all!

Great team player

If there were more Erin's in the world then it would be a better place and sailing would be more fun. Excellent cook good sailor and all round nice person. 3 weeks crossing the Atlantic, never missed a watch, works confidently on the fore deck and in the cockpit

Novice going on vendee glober

Erin was member of Bluefin's crew from Nazare to Lanzarote week nov 8\13. A very capable crewmember. Smart, fit, quick learning, bright happy and positive in all situations, Punctual and accurate helmsperson, no hint of seasickness, and always patient and creative with our testing 7 year old We will sadly miss her, as we want to stay in the Canaries till after xmas and Erin would like to cross The atlantic a soon as possible. I can really envisage this scots lass laughing her way round the southern ocean one day! Sv.Bluefin
