Looking for a boat from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean/ Africa/ South America via Cabo Verde
Hello! My name is Nicola, i’m a 27 years old Italian guy. I’m a RYA Yachmaster Offshore (fully vaccineted) with 20000 nm on the log book, enthusiastic about sharing esperiences and meet new people. I started sailing when I was 6 years old and I work on sailing yachts, as captain or crew during races, since I was 19. In the last three years I worked as skipper on a beautiful Baltic51 in the Mediterranean (the boat was based in Malta). In november 2021 I completed a transatlantic crossing on a small sailing boat of 9 meters.. from Las Palmas to Guadalupe.
Currently I am in the Med and I am ready to embark to go to the Canary and then Cabo Verde, Africa or Caribbean and South America. As you have probably noticed I'm open to any plans that envisage sailing and explorations... I am available to evaluate every offer, even work positions!
I have excellent adaptability, I like to relate to others but I am also able to spend time in peace and quiet. I like to help with cooking, cleaning, maintenance, watchkeeping and running the boat even in difficult weather conditions.
Apart from the RYA certifications, I have the Italian sailing and motor boat license which allows me to drive boats without limits from the coast; the certificate for the use of VHF equipment, and the STCW first aid (if interested I can send you my nautical CV for further informations).
