Yachtmaster Offshore looking for a deckhand or other position
I am looking for a deckhand position onboard a sailing yacht. Preferably a permanent but also seasonal situation with the opportunity to learn and improve on the technical aspects of the work. Ideally with the possibility to work towards OOW modules.
I am a 29 years old sailing instructor and skipper with an extensive work experience and background in sailing coastal and offshore wanting to transition to the yachting industry. Six years of working on sailboats full time while being sole responsible onboard have allowed me to develop a broad skill set and a good level of autonomy.
I am also an adaptive and teamwork oriented person, to me working in the sailing industry is a matter of passion and it is with great commitment that I am always striving to learn more and improve my competences. The safety and well-being of guests and crew are at the centre of all my efforts and the integrity and care for the vessel entrusted to me, a responsibility I consider with the utmost seriousness.
My greatest wish is to join a crew to share this love for sailing, to keep learning and growing and whenever possible, discover new places while doing so.
