Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Over the last 10 years I’ve sailed around the Whitsunday Islands in Australia on a 40-45 ft. cat which I charter and sailed with mates and we sail for 7-10 days every couple of years.
In February of 2024, I completed my Inshore Skipper certificate, and I’m now looking to log more sea miles to work towards my Offshore Skipper certificate.
In August 2025 I was accepted on a journey from Gibraltar to Sardinia which took 5 weeks ending in the first week of September, completing with a crew of 3 where we were rotating on a day & night shift, and in September I sailed from Hua Hin Thailand to Palawan Philippines which took 22 days to complete with a crew of 5.
I’m open to cruising for anywhere between a week to a couple of months, and I’m happy to contribute in any way I can to the journey. I would be thrilled to join you and your crew on your adventure and gain more hands-on experience.
I don’t smoke! I enjoy cooking and I like to drink occasionally with meals or socially, and I am happy to be a part of a team that keeps everything shipshape on-board with cleaning etc..
