Looking for a Novice Crew position in the Caribbean
Short version:
I would love to learn how to sail, so I am looking for someone who needs a hand on his/her boat and doesn't mind a newbie :).

Hallo hallo !
I guess a bit of context would be nice, so you can get an idea of what you can expect from me.
So, I have been working as an assistant architect for the past two years. And as much as I love my coworkers, the office atmosphere and the work itself, I feel like it’s time for some change. I’m a bit tired of the computer work and super excited about a hands-on job, a new adventure, a bit of no comfort zone, … I’d love to learn a ton of things and get to know myself a bit better (I feel like I have used all the clichés now :) ).
Learning how to sail has been on my “things I really want to do list” for quite some time, so I figured I might as well start there. I will be really honest, I know nothing about sailing. I am super motivated to learn everything and give a hand with anything you need help.
As a person I consider myself kind, thoughtful, grateful, but also calm.
Hmmm, I don’t know what else to tell you. Maybe some things I deeply care about or enjoy a lot: (the warmth of) my family, the environment, adventure, the refugee crisis, animals, the beauty of nature, feeling connected, asking a million questions, the sea and the underwater life, cooking, trying new things, climbing, books, …

Someone you want on your boat!
I spent a month in Panama working with Anna on the refit of a gorgeous 47’ one-off catamaran, where both of us were crew. I have rarely met someone with such talent, willingness and amazing personality. Whether she was sewing canvas, painting or making custom rub rails on the dinghy, rebuilding hatches or cooking, she worked with joy and amazing concentration. I thoroughly enjoyed every day working side-by-side with this wonderful human being. A true gem! I look forward to crewing with her on the catamaran next year when it sails into the Pacific.
