Experienced hospitality professional (novice crew member) seeking volunteer live-aboard position
Hi - I've recently joined Crewbay, I’m a novice crew member, but I now have five live-aboard experiences under my belt. I’m currently wrapping up a delivery of a luxury catamaran from Paros to Cyprus and looking for my next voyage. Before this, I completed 187nm through the Saronic Gulf; down to Sifnos back up to Poros, on a Jeanneau 53, in strong winds and storms (which made some excellent sailing!) Before that, I was cooking on a 24m motor yacht between Skradin and Split and Hvar on anchorages, and before that, 286nm from Piraeus through the Corinth Canal, the Gulf of Corinth, Lefkada and Corfu, on a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44 DS. Last year, over 100 nautical miles through the Cyclades, on a 51 Bavaria Cruiser, with the Meltemi blowing over 40 knots.
I have gained some experience to assist with lines, sails, knots, anchoring, Med mooring and of course entering and exiting marinas. Most importantly, I can cook, clean and am told I’m good company.
I'd welcome the opportunity as a Novice Crew member; I have a lot of experience in hospitality and tourism, a critical thinker and problem solver, and a well-experienced all-rounder who is capable, enthusiastic and hard working. I am a fit and active 41 year old, with a UK and Australian passport. I hope you will give me a chance to prove myself aboard your vessel.
