Looking for a Mile building position - Friendly sail - Crossing the see - Learn Skills - Adventure
Hello,
I am an architect, 53 years old, with two years of sailing experience. I am taking a career break and want to join a long-term sailing crew (4 weeks, ideally from November 2023 onwards). I am currently based in Dublin until the end of October, and then I will be free to meet you whenever you are. I will have to fly back to Barcelona as I have a family commitment from the 23 of December until the 7th of January.
I did my "timonel" course, which I think is equivalent to a "Day Skipper with international license" (not sure about that) back in 2004/5 using an H19'' (Hunter 19'') and a Limbo 21 and crossing the Rio de La Plata to Uruguay on two occasions (250miles) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also used to race a bigger boat as a crew member.
I would love to meet up for a test ride if you deem it convenient.
I would love to continue sailing again soon.
