Qualified Sailor Available for TransAt as Delivery Crew, Deckhand/ Cook
Hi thanks for reading. I'm interested in finding a position as a Delivery Crew, Deckhand, Cook or Mate for Europe - Caribbean. Having finished a delivery + pleasure sail in Europe I'm am now available from 30th December in the Canaries.
RYA Day Skippers lisence, STCW and 4000 miles sailing (including offshore deliveries) + experience sailing classic gaff rigged boats - such as Wharram schooners and bristol pilot cutters. Very familiar with boat living, fixing things, keeping order, log books, tying knots, passage planning, weather awareness, being quick-thinking and creating solutions. No stranger to maintenance such as antifouling, polishing, adjusting rigging etc and not afraid of hard work (or filleting fish!).
I’m a friendly person with a sense of humour who also likes to be well organised and professional, and learn from other crew while onboard. I speak basic Spanish + love cooking foods of all cultures. I'm also a professional photographer: www.overlandandsea.og
