Somewhere to elsewhere - easy going solo traveler
Hey guys,
I’m currently in Germany and getting ready for my next adventure. After travelling through Central America in 2024, I’m now looking for a way to combine travelling, learning and getting more seriously into sailing.
I’ve always loved being on the water. So far, most of my sailing experience has come from annual sailing trips with my dad in the Mediterranean. Now I’d really like to take the next step, gain proper hands-on experience, improve my sailing skills and learn as much as I can from life on a boat.
A little about me:
I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science in 2024. Since then, I’ve been living and working in Sweden in the canoe and outdoor business. I’ve been doing a bit of everything – customer service, logistics, transfers, equipment, repairs, cooking and generally making sure things run smoothly.
Before my studies, I worked for several years as an ICU nurse and also did a traineeship in media design and photography – so I’m used to responsibility, working in a team, staying calm when things get chaotic, and being creative when needed. ?
I’m spontaneous, flexible and currently pretty much free to start a new adventure. I love outdoor sports, cooking, photography, good conversations and meeting new people. I’m also not afraid of hard work, getting my hands dirty or learning something completely new.
I’m not looking for a holiday – I’d love to actually be part of the crew, help out, learn, gain experience and see where the journey takes me.
