Ahoy! I'm a seasoned sailor with a lifelong love affair with the sea, seeking to expand my horizons through an unforgettable blue water voyage. From navigating the winds on my own Laser to exploring distant shores, sailing is not just a hobby but a passion ingrained in my soul.
I yearn to gain blue water experience, charting a course from California or Mexico to the enchanting islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, or beyond. With preferred departure in May or June 2024, I'm ready to embark on a journey of discovery and adventure.
Having explored Easter Island, Tahiti, and the Marquesas by air in 2013, I'm eager to revisit these paradises by sea. Fluent in French and proficient in Spanish, I'm equipped to navigate both linguistic and nautical challenges with ease.
Fit, helpful, and dependable, I bring a wealth of experience to the crew. From standing watch to whipping up delicious meals, I'm ready to tackle any task with enthusiasm and skill. With a background in mechanical engineering and a knack for problem-solving, I'm well-equipped to handle any challenges that arise on deck.
As a software developer and ultra long distance cyclist, I thrive when the going gets tough, never shying away from a challenge. And with minimal alcohol consumption and a smoke-free lifestyle, I'm committed to maintaining a healthy and harmonious environment on board.
