Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship or Voluntary work position
Hello everyone!
My name is Louis, I'm a 22-year-old French traveler, currently hitchhiking my way across the Americas. Since March, I've been on the road with a dream: to travel from Patagonia to Alaska, by land… and by sea!
I'm now looking to join a sailboat from Colombia to Central America, ideally around mid-June, but I'm flexible. I don’t have a fixed destination — I'm open to wherever the wind (and your route) takes me, as long as I reach Central America.
One of my goals on this journey has always been to experience sailing in the Caribbean. I’ve loved the sea and sailing since I was a kid. I’ve spent time on small catamarans, and last summer I had my first experience on a cruising sailboat — two days of sailing and a night on an island. I absolutely loved it, and I’m eager to learn more and live that experience again.
I'm happy to help on board with night watches, cooking, cleaning, boat maintenance, and I’m also willing to contribute to daily costs. I'm available before departure to help prepare the boat or assist with anything needed.
I’m a friendly, easy-going and curious person, always excited to meet new people and explore new environments. I’m really looking forward to learning more about life at sea and sharing a unique adventure with passionate sailors.
