Looking for a Deckhand position

I am a highly motivated individual who excels in high-pressure environments and adapts quickly to new challenges. Over the years, I have developed a diverse and valuable skill set through a variety of professional experiences.
I began my career as a paramedic in Johannesburg, where I worked for three years. This role taught me to remain calm under pressure, think quickly, and collaborate effectively as part of a team in emergency situations. Following this, I moved to China to teach English. This experience enhanced my ability to manage and engage with children in a patient and playful manner. I also taught adult learners, which deepened my understanding of effective communication and instructional techniques.
Subsequently, I co-founded a business alongside my mentor. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in negotiation, sales, and profit optimization. Managing direct sales interactions with customers sharpened my interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Most recently, before transitioning to a maritime career, I worked as a tour guide in South Africa’s renowned Winelands region. This role significantly refined my people skills, and I quickly earned a reputation as one of the top-rated guides in the industry.
Each of these roles has equipped me with unique strengths that I now bring to my work as a deckhand. I am committed to applying this diverse skill set to excel in the yachting industry and deliver exceptional service as part of any crew.
