Yachtmaster Offshore, SY delivery crew
I'm looking for a sailing yacht delivery. In May and June 2026 I crossed the Atlantic as delivery crew on a Swan 53, from Badalona to Newport, Rhode Island, by way of Gibraltar, the Azores and Bermuda. That was 5,178 nm and 31 days on board: night watches, reefing and sail changes in winds to F8, and hand steering after the autopilot failed. Since 2025 I have skippered day charters out of Port Olímpic in Barcelona. 6,486 nm logged since 2023.
I hold the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore, commercially endorsed for yachts up to 200 GT, and the Spanish Patrón de Yate. STCW basic safety training, survival craft and rescue boats, medical first aid, passenger ships and security. GMDSS ROC, SRC and ENG1.
Russian passport, resident in Spain, US B1/B2 visa. Non-smoker. English, Spanish and Russian. Based in Barcelona and flexible on dates and length of the trip. References on request.
