Looking for a 1st Mate, Delivery Crew, Deckhand or Bosun position
Good Day Captains, and those this may concern,
I am an experienced sailor and deckhand with more than 2 years professional yachting experience, and more than 6 years as a recreational sailor. And have in past years, had the privilege of working on vessels around the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Adriatic, and South Africa.
Specifically, on vessels which ranged anywhere from 24 - 55m (LOA). As of yet, my highest qualification is the RYA/MCA YM Offshore, and the RYA/MCA PBL2 – both which are commercially endorsed. Together with a valid ENG1, STCW, SRC/VHF, PWC, SCUBA Open Water, Compressor operator license, etc.
Moreover, for the past two years whilst staying on dry ground, I have been working independently as a photographer and videographer, where I learned to stay organized, structured, and solution-oriented under pressure. These attributes greatly developed my sense of responsibility and adaptability. Now, my passion for the sea has grown stronger than ever, and after expanding my qualifications, I am ready to set sail yet again.
A few additional facts that might be of interest: I am a non-smoker with no tattoos, and I maintain an active and adventurous lifestyle. I am fluent in English, Afrikaans, and fairly proficient in conversational German.
