Sailing & Backpacking Adventure — Looking for My Next Boat
Hello everyone! My name is Lola, I’m a 27-year-old Spanish girl who has been backpacking and sailing around the world for the last three years.
After two years hitchhiking through South America, I arrived in Panama, where I spent six months working at Linton Bay Marina. I helped with boat repairs, cleaning, maintenance, and pretty much whatever was needed — always happy to get my hands dirty and learn something new.
In January 2026, I joined a sailboat to cross the Pacific Ocean as part of the World ARC 2026/27, sailing via the Galápagos Islands all the way to Tahiti. I then left the boat and joined another one to continue the journey through the Cook Islands, Tonga, and eventually Fiji.
I’m now on my third boat, sailing around Fiji, and I’m looking for my next sailing adventure towards Indonesia.
I’m an easygoing, adaptable, hardworking person who loves learning, meeting new people, and being part of life at sea. I’m happy to get involved in whatever is needed on board, whether it’s sailing, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, or simply keeping things running smoothly. I also have experience working on the mast and doing repairs up there, and I’m currently learning the basics of mechanics and general boat repairs. I’m very practical, curious, and always keen to learn new skills and help wherever I can on board.
Most importantly, I’m excited to keep learning, gaining experience, and exploring the world by sail.
If you’re heading towards Indonesia or have a spot available on board, I’d love to hear from you!
Fair winds!
