Crew available to cross pacific
Hello everyone,
My name is Nino, I’m a French traveler currently in New Zealand and I’m looking for a boat heading toward French Polynesia from July 1st onwards, ideally continuing later toward South America.
I’m flexible regarding the departure port anywhere in New Zealand.
I’ve been traveling around the world for the past 9 months.
I hitchhiked across part of Europe before continuing through Southeast Asia: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
This journey taught me how to adapt easily, live simply and get along well with many different kinds of people and environments.
About my sailing experience:
Several coastal sailing trips
Lived one year aboard a sailboat in New Caledonia
Experience with maneuvers and daily life onboard
I haven’t done a major ocean crossing yet, but I’m highly motivated to learn and become a useful crew member.
I can stand watch with clear instructions and I’m serious, calm and reliable onboard.
Other useful skills:
Good cook onboard
Trained carpenter
Comfortable helping with repairs, maintenance and general boat work
Easy-going and respectful in shared spaces
Of course, I’m happy to contribute to the boat budget and shared expenses.
