Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position
Hi - I am interested in crewing positions. I enjoy passage making, have a strong stomach, and am very willing to assist in all aspects of life onboard ( cooking, fixing, maintaining, standing watch). I am a retired Electrical Engineer and love to be out on the ocean. My longest passage was 28days from Mexico to the Marquesas.
Experience : San Francisco Bay sailing 2012 thru 2014/ California coastal cruising 2012 thru 2014 / BAJA HAHA 2014 / Mexico to Marquesas 2016 / South Pacific ( French Polynesia thru to New Zealand 2017 to 2018 ) / Baja Bash 2019 / local Mexico 2019 / Golfito, Costa Rica to Los Angeles, California 2022. My Mileage log is approximately 25,000 miles.
Most of my experience has been with family members approximately 2012 thru 2018 --- In 2019 I started crewing on boats in Mexico owned by new friends -- this included the Baja Bash and other shorter runs in Mexico.
In 2022 I was crew on a run from Gulfito, Costa Rica to Los Angeles, California.
In 2023 I was crew on Leopard 44 on the NARC 2023 ( Eastern US to St. Maartin )
