I have been crewing since 2018, from catamarans to monohulls to power yachts. Eastern US, Northern Europe (England Netherlands France) and Bahamas most of all. I prefer fair weather sailing. I can cook, clean, run rigging, dock, night watch, tie a bowline, change the impeller.... I am retired and have found my happy place is on a boat with other boat people. I am healthy, do yoga, sing play guitar, love new people and new experiences. When not crewing, I live on my houseboat in Georgetown, Bahamas.

Island hopping the Caribbean, USVI to Greneda
happycru has crewed with me twice, each a month-long island hop. She's an absolute delight - engaging, upbeat, smart; always willing and anxious to participate in whatever has to be done - driving the boat, line handling, etc, cleaning, an imaginative cook. I'd have her back anytime. She's comfortable interacting and with alone time. She's a great communicator for experiencing cultures of the Caribbean, especially in the French Islands (speaks French good enough). She'd be a great contribution to any boat dynamic. Just don't believe her when she tells you she doesn't know how to play gin rummy.
