Caribbean Cruising in Luxury Catamaran
UPDATED 22 JULY 2024
Having cruised the Caribbean from Grenada to Puerto Rico and return, I am happily sailing single~handed in the eastern Caribbean with friends joining for August.
Now seeking compatible fun crew to join me in Grenada from early September when the plan is to cross to and explore the ABC’s (Bonaire, Curaçao and Aruba) during September and then cruise the coast of Columbia during October.
Longer term crew are preferred although short term crew (minimum of 14 nights) will be considered.
From November 2024 the plan is to head north again to Jamaica; cruise the Bahamas during all of December and January; February and March NW Cuba and down Central America; to go through the Panama Canal in April 2025; before crossing the Pacific to arrive in New Zealand by November 2025.
My passages are for people who want to improve their sailing skills in a safe and sound blue-water vessel. I am not offering a sailing vacation charter, although fun is part of the reason I do this. You are committed to learning on the go, no seasickness, no medical issues, no addictions, no vegans or special diet requirements or allergies to foods.

New Captain
Hello, While this new captain should feel proud for taking on the challenge of sailing a large catamaran and her intentions are good, expect a fair amount of stress and ill will aboard when situations are less than ideal. In years to come, imagine this will get worked out.
