Experienced sailor, traveller & content creator | 10,000+ NM | RYA Day Skipper
I’m Tim, an Irish citizen, full-time traveller and YouTuber with 10,000+ nautical miles and more than 5 months at sea.
I’m not looking for a sailing holiday. I’m looking for real passages, new places and good people to share the adventure with.
I hold RYA Day Skipper, SRC, First Aid and National Powerboat Certificate qualifications and have experience with offshore passages, night watches, navigation and life at sea.
I’m practical and hands-on. I can help with maintenance, electrics, mechanics, cooking, provisioning, cleaning, watches and pretty much whatever needs doing on board. I’m equally happy working on deck or making dinner while the weather does its usual attempt to ruin everyone's plans.
I have completed long offshore passages, including a multi-month sailing journey from Indonesia to Australia, and I’m comfortable living aboard for extended periods.
? I’m also a full-time travel YouTuber and content creator. I shoot photography and video, edit content and document my journeys. If the crew wants to create some great memories and footage along the way, I can contribute there too.
? Where I'm heading
My current goal is to travel East to West:
Mediterranean → Gibraltar → Canaries → Cape Verde → Caribbean → North / South America.
I’m happy to join for short or long legs if they make sense for the overall route.
Available now and flexible with dates and duration.

I’m easy-going, independent and used to travelling with minimal comfort. I don’t need a five-star cabin. A bunk, a decent boat, competent people and an interesting destination are usually enough.
