Marine scientist looking to join a boat and get more experience sailing :)
Hi!
I'm Rubén, an oceanographer and scuba diver with a deep love for the sea. I’ve recently finished my Marine Science studies (including a year in Coffs Harbour, Australia) and, on my way back to Barcelona, I spent 3 months traveling through the Pacific Islands and Latin America. Now I’m back home, working and looking for my next sailing adventure.
I hold the Spanish PER (Day Skipper) license with sailing endorsement and completed a catamaran course some years ago. I am very eager to gain more hands-on experience and learn from seasoned sailors.
Since I was 17, I’ve been traveling alone, backpacking through many different countries with the money I could save throught the year. These experiences have made me a very responsible, result-oriented, and open-minded person. I love discovering new places and meeting interesting people to share stories along the way!
I'm currently seeking opportunities to join a boat for a crossing anywhere in the world to get better at sailing and work hard while enjoying the ocean.
