Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship or Voluntary work position in South East Asia and Oceania
Hi sailors,
I'm doing a trip in Asia and Oceania from August until mid November 2025. I sailed a bit on a 24m long flat-bottom ship in the wadden sea of Germany. For that specific ship I did the one week training to get the 2nd bootsman in 2023. Therefore, I know the basics to sail that ship with the skipper and 1st bootsman and helping hands of the guests. I have already some plans in Asia, but also still unplanned weeks. So, I thought I could maybe sail with some people to explore more parts of the world and have to fly less between the destinations I want to visit. Due to that I have some date or location requirements. These lead to 3 optimal voyage options:
1) Sailing from 22nd of August from Jakarta, Indonesia or close by and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi Noi Bai, Vietnam or Bangkok or Phuket, Thailand on 1st of September. From these cities is a direct flight to Mongolia, where I do an expedition on 3rd September.
2) Else I would be up for sailing from Bali or close by to New Zealand or Australia starting from beginning of October, if the arrival is latest in the first week of November.
3) Next to that I would also be up for sailing around New Zealand in October.

I did in once a free diving course, but did not complete it due to trouble with the pressure equalisation. But I want to give it another try.
