Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship or Boat sitter position
Hello!
I am Line, a 32 year old Norwegian, who is always up for adventure! I love travelling, experiencing and learning something new, laughing, togetherness and making the most out of life!
I am a very positive, outgoing and easygoing, energetic, curious, happy, brave, active and caring person. I love all kinds of sports - hiking, running, football, weightlifting, kitesurfing, diving (certified), kayaking (certified), boxing, snowboarding, skiing +++ surfing being my definite favourite.
I also absolutely love good conversations - reflecting on life, values, people, and any other question or topic of interest. Not so much politics though, which is normally not on the positive side ;)
On the "professional side", I studied law, worked in hospitality for a while (running some hotels in Morocco, Portugal and Italy), then I switched to B2C car sales, then B2B import and export of cars, before I quit my job and started my own business and a Leadership & Personal Coach.

Experience living on board:
I have been on two week-long sailing trips, one in a 32-footer and one in a 37-footer, where I was part of the crew. I have also chartered boats with skippers abroad a couple of times.
I also took part in the “Wednesday Regatta” in my hometown for one season, where we sail regattas with J70s one evening a week throughout the summer. Further, I have my own cute little boat – an Askeladden 16 feeter.
Living on a boat has now become a dream for me, and I have just started planning to buy a sailboat and head south around fall 2026 :)
Practical skills:
I love feeling handy, and I really appreciate knowing that I can do things myself. I love learning and want to keep getting better at everything. It is important to me to be able to maintain everything I own, including my car, boat, house, etc. When it comes to engines and electricity, I'm not quite there yet, but I'm on my way!
When I bought my first house four years ago, I was doing most of the work myself. The single task I am most satisfied with from that project is probably putting up a lightweight wall with four corners all by myself ;) This is not entirely relevant on board, but I think it paints a picture :)
