Spain to UK in September?
Hi,
I'm in Spain and am looking to return to the UK by yacht in September if possible.
I arrived as novice crew on a catamaran in June, sailing from Chichester Harbour to A Coruna. I had a fantastic time at sea, and would like to gain more experience. I took part in watches, anchoring, docking and supporting the voyage in any way I could (and keeping out the way when my inexperience meant I couldn't). And I didn't get seasick. My other qualifications are that I'm fit and healthy, polite, respectful and uncomplaining. I enjoy meeting new people and am curious about those with different backgrounds from my own.
I enjoy slow travel, and sailing now expands on the ways which I can experience the outdoors. I've been on months long cycling, hiking and camping trips alone and with friends across Europe, Morocco, Turkey, Georgia, New Zealand and Japan. I've also lived in close quarters in tents and caravans for extended periods with friends and strangers during camping trips or jobs such as festival work. So I've experienced long and physically demanding trips in all weathers and with little privacy.
