Looking for Mile building positions between September and December 2025 (Yachtmaster Offshore exam)
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Mile building crew member. I am a Brit based in France and I'm open and keen to help with sailing yacht deliveries from the med back to the Canaries and / or the US. Also open to other offers.
Experience on the following: J24, Sigma 38, Hobie Cat and a range of other sailing craft. Spent 6 years racing and supporting the UK Hobie Cat scene and working at both the Southampton and London boat shows (20+ shows).
I logged over 300 hours back in the 1990s racing J24s from Penarth, Cardiff, Wales (foredeck) and from the Hamble, Southampton (cockpit) on Sigma 38s.
I also have the Day Skipper qualification as well as RYA Senior Instructors and I've just started the theory preparation for my booked RYA Yachtmaster Offshore training and exam in December 2025.
I am working towards gaining my Yachtmaster, Offshore qualification in December 2025 and any experience to support this (miles, tips and tricks, navigation and boat handling practice) is of interest to me!
I'm flexible, open to turn my hand to a wide variety of onboard tasks and am keen to learn from the best.
I'm free to start crewing in mid September 2025 and I'm looking forward to meeting some new people soon!
