Watch: Sailing max 50 knots in the North Pacific / Oregon Coast!
Looking for Chef or Cook/Stew position, Delivery Crew & I love Night Watchs 2026
Aloha: this is my 6th time in Crewbay. In my first one I met Grateful and Capitan Duane and with them I sailed from Mallorca to Lanzarote Island in the Canaries. In the second one, I met Joyvela and sailed with Captain Peter, family and crew from Galapagos to Vancouver Island in Canada. This year 2026 after being onboard Carpathia, doing a sailboat dream trip from Costa Rica, stopping in Galapagos and arriving end of april to Marquesas Islands, I was lucky enough to continue sailing cooking and learning round RAROMATAI archipelago.
After this Polynesian experience and as my other loved islands where on the way needed to do some intelligent shopping.... because I was flying back to my dear "Joyvela" and Captains Peter Ödlunds crew.
Now we are flying over the North Pacific Ocean.
Thanks to all the Captains and all the working invitations for this fall season in Europe but once I finish this crossing I will go BACK to France to work in land in a Private Restaurant (only by invitation on the Basque Country) for the season. So if anybody of you reading this now knows a friend that knows a friend somewhere in the FRENCH POLYNESIA please send me a message.
I'm absolutely interested in finding a new position working as a Chef -Cook/Stew, Night Watchs &/or Delivery Crew. I will be ready to jump again in your sailboat to any other part of this Planet Water as I finish this sailing trip Victoria-Honolulu- Victoria..
I'm looking forward to meeting some new people and learn from you.
I finished doing my Coastal Skipper course in Pasaia Eskola (Basque Country https://pasaiaeskola.hezkuntza.net/es/inicio1 ).
Searching for a sailing vessel to validate MY KNOWLEDGE AND IGNORANCE learned in this COASTAL SKIPPER LICENSE course, so will be ready to fly anywhere ending may if the opportunity and challenge is an upgrade of what I have done until now.
I have been training in a small 25´ sailboat since 2020.
Never got seasick, in 2006 we made a surf expedition to the Selvagems islands in Portugal.
From 8 crew, only the captain and me stayed 100% in shape.
I have been doing all kind of watersports, specially designing (for more than 25 years as a tourism and water sports technician) various methods of dissemination, promotion and teaching of surf, sup and outrigger canoe (in salt and fresh waters).
I have specialized in Leisure, Culture and Gastronomy.
And now I want to expand my knowledge at Sea.
For 15 years I have been in charge of the technical direction of the first Stand Up Paddle club of Donostia-San Sebastian that we have transformed into a sailing, swimming, and everything related to life at sea club now based in Getaria/ Basque Country.
I am ready to be under the orders of a Captain who wants to train me for Yacht Master and embark on another crossing, or just being ISLAND HOPING. Also ready to meet a new crew and be a good team player. Guess that after going north in the Pacific I have learned something that I can also share…

Grateful first mate
