Experienced first mate and future captain - Looking for a Competent Crew, Mile building, Delivery Crew or Boat sitter position
I’ve just joined crewbay and looking for opportunities to help with deliveries or cruising. Based in Michigan, I run a small private sailing charter business and crew on charter sails. I’ve sailed in Norway, the Pacific side of Mexico, and the North Channel of Canada in addition to spending a lot of time on Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay.
I’m working on my captain’s license, I’m ASA 101/103 certified, and I have a remote contract job writing for a marketing agency that helps companies get brand mentions to show up in LLM searches (like ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity).
Our sailing season ends in October and I’m looking for more time on the water in the off-season. I’m capable, easy to get along with, and very willing to travel!
