Seeking to work on a boat as chef/steward-deckhand, learn more & enjoy and adventure new places and new people
Dear Captains Sailors & upcoming friends, I'm Marco, I'm 39, Italian and I just ended 4 months cruising in the Caribbean from Martinique till Colombia. I became a good deckhand learning the maneuvers in mooring and docking and how to drive the dinghy, also I looked after the F&Bs and crew's morale cooking nice dishes and preparing gorgeous drinks.
Still there is a lot to learn about sealife and I'm always ready to help and get done any new tasks is needed for the boat.
About myself : I'm clean, tidy and respectful, used to share spaces with others. I love a good conversation and parties as I love the silence and staring the horizon deeply lost in my thoughts.
I 'm great cook and I'm a former bartender so these aspect of life will be fully covered.
I play ukulele and percussion, I can swim nicely but still not so brave to do it very dark blue waters... still!!!
I speak very good English and Spanish I understand the slang of many latin southamerican Countries
I'm learning French also at the moment and I have a basic Portuguese . Communication will be easy
I'm looking for somebody eager to teach me more about sailing and boat maintenance and all the other aspects around this lifestyle meanwhile we adventure and discover new people, new lands, different way of thinking and deeper inner thoughts.
