Enthusiastic Day Skipper looking for mile building positions
Hi. I’m an RYA Day Skipper (qualified June 2025 with Solent Boat Training) looking to get out on the water as much as possible over the winter and on.
I’ve recently moved to South London, so I’m within easy reach of Southampton and the Solent. After dinghy sailing for years in South Yorkshire, I caught the cruising bug this summer, spending a week crewing around the Ionian and time around Exmouth with friends. I’m now keen to keep learning, build miles, and gain more experience crewing on different boats.
I’m happy to muck in with any role on board — keen to learn from more experienced skippers and crews, and always up for a challenge (or a cup of tea on deck in the rain!).
I’m practical, reliable, and enthusiastic — and can be available for weekend sails or longer deliveries.
