Looking for a Mile building, Competent Crew or Racing crew position, cruising and Bluewater/off shore experience
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Mile building, Competent Crew or Racing crew. I am a life long sailor and started sailing with my family as a child. I have sailed a variety of places including Lake Superior, Bahamas, San Francisco Bay Area, Channel Islands and Humboldt Bay in California. I own a Catalina 22 which I sail with my family and friends. I enjoy racing, and also hope to do some longer cruising of my own one day in the Sea of Cortez, Inside Passage and other wild and beautiful places. I'm looking to gain more blue water and cruising experience and hope to find others that can share their knowledge. I work full time, so I'm looking for some short term adventures and passages that I can jump into for 2-3 weeks at a time. I like to play music, snorkel, free dive, hike and explore wilderness and wild places. Thanks!

Great crew and allround amazing person.
We sailed with Marty S for four weeks in the Caribbean. He proved to be a competent and helpful crew member, always contributing positively onboard. His strongest quality, however, is his personality—he has excellent social awareness and is genuinely great company, making life onboard easy and enjoyable for everyone. We would happily sail with Marty again and can highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and well-balanced crew member.
