Crew position - Atlantic Crossing from Canarias
Hello sailors!
My name is Amaury and I am looking for a boat to sail to America / the Canary Islands / the Caribbean ? I am currently in Las Palmas (Canary Islands).
A little bit about me: I am 29 years old, French, live in Paris and grew up in Brittany.
I love sailing, which I learned at the Glénans sailing school (5 courses, including 3 on board), and I am comfortable with manoeuvres. Crossing the ocean is a real dream for me! ?
Coastal licence (2021), offshore licence (2025), CRR (2025). Good knowledge of navigation (charting, routing, dead reckoning, drift, bearings, tides, GPS), safety/regulations (rules of the road, weather, equipment) and communication (VHF, emergency calls, etc.).
Caring, motivated and a quick learner, I can take on night watches. I am trained in first aid (PSC1). I speak French, English and Italian.
I participate in life on board: cooking, cleaning, washing up. I know how to keep myself busy! I love reading, playing games and drawing! Always in a good mood, even in bad weather.
