Hello,

My name is Laura.

I am a deckhand and I am available to join a boat from June 26nd with no end date.

I am looking for a professional crew where safety, responsibility and teamwork are important. I would like to work with a serious captain or owner, learn more, help the team and give the best service on board.

I have always loved the sea. Since I was a child, the sea has been a big part of my life.

I am a responsible, organized and friendly person. I like learning new things, meeting people from different countries and working in a team.

I have maritime training and certificates. I am a fishing sailor, deckhand and engine room sailor. I have PNB and PER licenses, STCW Basic Safety Training, Passenger Ship Certificate, Ship Security Certificate, Seaman's Book and a valid medical certificate.

I am also an Open Water and Advanced diver, and I have sailing certificates.

Since 2020, I have owned and skippered my own 5.5-meter sailing boat. This has given me experience in navigation, boat maintenance, manoeuvres and life on board.

I was also a volunteer on the crew of the Galeón Andalucía. There I worked as watch leader, deckhand and kitchen assistant. This experience helped me improve my teamwork and responsibility at sea.

I also have experience working with people and in hospitality. I worked as a cook and bar manager. These jobs taught me how to work under pressure, stay organized and provide good customer service.

I am a hard-working person with a positive attitude. I am always ready to learn and help where needed.

I would also like to improve my English, learn about new cultures and meet people from around the world.

I am available from June 22nd and I would be very happy to join your crew.
