Permanent traveler for 18 years with RYA Yachtmaster Offshore looking for recreational sailing opportunities worldwide.
I’m an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and a permanent traveler who has been exploring the world for the past 18 years. After an earlier professional career in international commercial real estate, I retired at 30 and have since focused on travel and new experiences.
My sea miles were mainly accumulated during RYA training and coastal passages around the Canary Islands and Gibraltar Bay. I’m now looking for recreational sailing opportunities around the world.
I particularly enjoy sailing well-maintained cruising yachts, ideally modern catamarans or comfortable monohulls suitable for relaxed coastal sailing. My goal is to keep building experience, sail interesting waters and meet great people along the way.
I prefer relaxed boats and smaller crews rather than fully packed charters.
I’m open to several types of opportunities:
• recreational crewing
• co-chartering or shared charters
• cruising passages
• mile building trips
As I’m financially independent, I’m happy to contribute to charter costs, provisioning or shared sailing expenses when appropriate.
Ultimately I'm looking for enjoyable sailing, good company and friendships formed along the way.

I will be in Greece from 05 April to 18 May and would particularly enjoy joining a sailing trip in the Greek waters during that time. During the European summer and early autumn, from July to October, I expect to spend time in the Mediterranean again, though I remain open to interesting sailing opportunities elsewhere in the world.
