Looking for a Novice Crew, Mile building, Deckhand or Cook position
Hello my name is Jacob 30 years of male . I have recently began exploring the world around me and Realized I have a deep love for the ocean and boats .
I have a strong desire to learn everything about sailing and to be on the sea . I have spent a few years in Port Charlotte FL going on the harbor with my grandfather on a pontoon to catch dinner .
I still remember the smell of the canals in the morning .
Right now I am road tripping across America . I left my home in Boulder CO and made it to St. Louis->Pittsburgh->NewRiver Gorge WV->Savannah GA-> Hot Springs AK-> Memphis and planning for upstate New York next, rounding back down to the Keys.
Back home I love to work in the farming industry, Although I don't smoke I really enjoy working with cannabis . The community and individuals I meet are always ones that seem to stay with me .
Ultimately I am looking for a Boat that is open to teach someone with almost no boating experience. I am a very direct listener and learn very fast hands on. I love to create art and I am always picking up a new medium . In less then five years I expect to see myself Selling my land cruiser for a decent live aboard that I can use to explore this side of the world by sea and hopefully further !
I have always been drawn to the ocean and cant seem to stay away .
The push and pull of the tide is something I feel very deeply .
