Easy-going arborist & musician seeking August passage south
Hi all! Scottish beginner, RYA Competent Crew (booked, early August). Looking to join a boat in the UK for a passage that lands me back by around 3 September (happy to fly home). Ideally a Biscay crossing to northern Spain, or down the Atlantic coast of France, open to suggestions.
Arborist by trade: used to ropes, heights, early starts and random hours, none of it a problem. Strong carpentry, comfortable with 12v electrics and basic plumbing… a good head scratcher when things break. Musical, creative, a naturalist; easy-going, sociable, equally happy reading, painting or playing guitar on a quiet watch. I surf. Very keen to learn, no ego.
Reliable, fit, and I’ll pull my weight. Can travel to most UK departure ports.
