From Australia to Asia
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a boat to leave Australia for Asia, as the first step of my project: making my way back to Belgium without flying, now that I've just finished driving all the way around Australia solo in my Jeep.
Australia has a great train and bus network, so I can depart from any city and I'm happy to sail to any country in Asia. I don't think I could be much more flexible than that.
I'm ready to help as much as possible and take on as many responsibilities as needed during the passage, as well as before departure and after arrival if required. More than anything, I'm eager to learn, gain experience, and be a useful crew member.
A bit about me: I'm a 26-year-old Belgian, passionate about the ocean, scuba diving (FFESSM Level 2 Nitrox RIFAP, with over 100 open-water dives), and discovering new places. I'm a non-smoker, sporty, fit, and vegetarian, although I'm happy to eat fish if it's caught during the trip. I've been vegetarian since I was 20 and regularly monitor my health (three check-ups a year, no deficiencies). And on a more personal note, I'd describe myself as someone who's easy-going... and hopefully a bit funny too.
My second Working Holiday Visa expires at the beginning of October 2026, so I'm available to leave at any time before then.
I'm not entirely sure how to sell myself, so please feel free to ask me absolutely anything.
