Crew Available – RYA Day Skipper | 900 NM | Yachtmaster Offshore Seeking
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for sailing or motorboating opportunities this summer to continue building experience, accumulate miles, and get back into a regular rhythm on the water before beginning my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore training this fall.
A little about me:
RYA Day Skipper (Sail)
Approximately 900 nautical miles logged, primarily in tidal waters around Gibraltar and southern Spain
STCW Basic Safety Training
VHF SRC
ASA 101
Comfortable with watches, helming, pilotage, line handling, and being an active member of the crew
Interested in both sail and motor opportunities
I'm available roughly mid-July through mid-August, with some flexibility into early September depending on the opportunity.
Professionally, I'm a counseling psychologist and leadership consultant, so I'm used to working closely with people, staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and being part of a team. Personally, I'd describe myself as easygoing, coachable, dependable, and low-drama. I'm not looking to be the expert on board—I enjoy learning from experienced skippers, pitching in wherever needed, and contributing to a positive crew environment.
