Experienced Sailor Based in Dénia – Available for Day Sails, Weekend Trips and Coastal Cruising
Hi! Im Sebastian Azarloza.
I'm an Italian citizen originally from Argentina and currently living in Dénia, Spain.
I hold an Argentine sailing and powerboat skipper qualification, and I owned an 8-metre sailboat for several years. Most of my sailing experience comes from the Río de la Plata, where I often sailed single-handed, taking care of manoeuvres, berthing and handling the boat myself.
My experience is mainly in coastal sailing. I enjoy being an active crew member, helping with sailing, manoeuvres and watches. I'm reliable, calm and easy to get along with.
Owning my own boat also taught me how to maintain it. I have good practical mechanical skills and experience with engines, pumps, carburettors, basic electrical systems and general repairs. I'm not a professional marine mechanic, but I'm practical, enjoy solving technical problems and I'm always happy to help wherever I can.
I'm looking for day sails, coastal cruising, weekend trips and, with some planning, longer passages. I'm also interested in gaining more experience sailing in the Mediterranean and learning from experienced skippers while contributing my own experience, commitment and enthusiasm.
Spanish is my native language. My English is basic, and I'm currently learning while living in Spain. I can communicate in basic English, and every trip is also a great opportunity for me to improve it.
