Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position, in september and october, for trips ranging from one day to three weeks
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
French, 49, based near Lyon. Looking to join a sailing trip in the Mediterranean this September and october, flexible on dates and route.
I hold a coastal skipper license (Permis Côtier) and inland waterways license (Permis Fluvial), though mostly theoretical so far — my practical sailing experience is on dinghies and small catamarans, no cruising yacht experience yet. Comfortable with the basics and keen to build real sea time.
Physically fit and used to demanding outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, climbing), so no issue with early starts, hands-on work, or a few uncomfortable days at sea.
Also using this as a way to practice my English in a real-life setting, so happy to sail with an English-speaking crew.
Reliable, easygoing, happy to contribute to costs/food/watches. Available for a few days up to a couple of weeks depending on the trip.
