21yo Naval Engineering Student Looking for Sailing Experience
Hi! I'm a 21-year-old Naval Engineering student from Italy, currently in my third year at university.
I'm looking for an opportunity to join a sailing boat as novice crew for about one week, ideally in the Mediterranean. I'm currently working towards my sailing licence and I'd really like to gain some real practical experience on board.
I don't have much sailing experience yet, but I'm motivated, physically fit, easy-going and very willing to learn. I'm happy to help with everything on board: sailing manoeuvres, watches, mooring, cooking, cleaning and everyday boat life.
My main goal is not just to have a holiday, but to learn as much as possible, spend time at sea and become more confident on a sailing boat.
I'm based in La Spezia, Italy, but I'm happy to travel to join the boat, especially within Italy, France, Corsica, Sardinia or elsewhere in the Mediterranean.
I'm also open to deliveries or joining only one leg of a longer passage.
