Looking for a Competent Crew position
Hi, I’m Giulia, a 38-year-old passionate sailor from Italy!I am looking for a voluntary crew or boat delivery position for the upcoming September passage to the Canary Islands or Cape Verde. I want to build up my miles in tidal waters and help out on a great offshore delivery!I have logged over 6,000 NM in the Mediterranean. I hold an Italian coastal sailing licence, but my practical skills cover every role on board: from passage planning (using both traditional paper charts and modern Raymarine electronics) to sail trimming and helming. Also, I absolutely love independent night watches. My superpower? I’m an amazing cook and love managing the galley (cambusa)! I can whip up great meals even when the weather gets rough.I have a solid offshore racing background, having competed in the "151 Miglia", "100 Miglia del Circeo", and the Circeo Winter Championship. My primary role is Bowman/Prodiere; I am agile and light, yet strong under pressure, so I'm definitely not afraid of hard work or heavy weather.I pay great attention to detail because, to me, a boat is a home. I grew up sailing with my father on our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45, so I know exactly how to take care of a vessel. I am very experienced in onboard cleaning and teak maintenance.I am social, respectful, and bring great energy on board. I speak fluent Italian and have an excellent command of English, especially when it comes to marine and nautical terminology. Ready to jump on board from September onwards. Let’s sail together! ⛵
