Looking for a Novice Crew or Mile building position
I am a Colombian business professional and entrepreneur entering a new stage of my life with a strong interest in boating and life at sea. My main goal is to gain practical experience on board, learn from experienced captains and boat owners, and progressively develop the skills needed to operate my own boat in the future.
I am particularly interested in gaining hands-on experience in coastal cruising, docking and marina maneuvers, route planning, safety procedures, basic maintenance, boat systems, and everyday life aboard. I am willing to actively participate in onboard duties and learn with responsibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
I am especially interested in motor yachts and powerboats, and in cruising around Florida, the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean, although I am open to other opportunities that will allow me to gain valuable boating experience.
I am organized, responsible, respectful, sociable, reliable, and easy to get along with. I am not simply looking for a free vacation aboard a boat; my purpose is to learn, contribute, and build genuine hands-on boating experience in preparation for becoming a boat owner and operator myself.
Spanish is my native language, and I am improving my English. I travel frequently to Florida and have flexibility to consider boating opportunities that fit my availability.
