Crew available for Atlantic passage - October/ November 2026
Hi, I’m Finn, 24, British-American (just the passport quite frankly!) and based in the UK. I’m looking to join a well-run sailing boat for an Atlantic passage, ideally departing Spain, Portugal or the Canary Islands for the Caribbean during October or November 2026.
I’m due to complete my RYA Competent Crew course in the Mediterranean from 5–9 October and will be available from mid-October until the beginning of December.
I’m new to offshore sailing, so I’m not pretending to have experience I don’t yet possess, although have had experiences on friend's boats offshore. However, I’m physically fit, a marathon finisher, calm, adaptable and genuinely keen to learn. I’m happy to take a full share of watches, cooking, cleaning and everyday responsibilities aboard. I have no dietary restrictions and am sociable while also comfortable with independence and confined group living.
I currently work in a commercial role at Red Bull and have a gap before beginning my next position in January. I’m specifically looking for a serious sailing experience where I can contribute properly, build offshore experience and become part of a good crew. Looking forward to hearing from you!
