Looking for a Novice Crew position
Hi!
I'm based in Belgium and looking to join a sailing crew for an Atlantic crossing or another adventurous sailing expedition.
I'm a geographer by training, a seasoned traveller, and currently in my second year of photography studies. During my student years, I also worked as a kitchen assistant and cook, so I'm happy to contribute to meal preparation and the everyday tasks that make life aboard work.
I've completed some introductory sailing courses, but my practical sailing experience is still limited. I'm eager to learn, develop my skills, take part in watches and manoeuvres under the skipper's guidance, and contribute wherever I can.
I'm looking for more than just a way to get from A to B: I'd love to experience life at sea, discover new places, and share a genuine adventure with an open-minded crew.
I speak French, Dutch, English and Spanish fluently, and some limited knowledge of some other European languages.
I'm particularly interested in Atlantic crossings around January 2027, and I'm flexible about the departure point and destination.
Fair winds, and hope to hear from you!
