Looking for a Deckhand position
Hi everyone!
My name is Simon, I'm a 22-year-old French national currently looking for an opportunity as a Junior Deckhand, available from 15 December.
I'm highly motivated to start my career in the yachting industry and eager to learn, develop new skills and gain hands-on experience at sea. I recently completed my STCW training and hold a French coastal boating licence, as well as a CSS certificate.
I bring over four years of experience in hospitality, bartending and customer service, including working in international environments in France, Germany and Canada. These experiences have taught me to work efficiently under pressure, adapt quickly, pay attention to detail and maintain high standards of service.
I'm physically fit, hardworking, reliable and not afraid of long hours or challenging tasks. I'm equally happy working independently or as part of a team, and I'm ready to get involved in all aspects of deck operations and yacht maintenance.
My long-term ambition is to build a career at sea and eventually become a captain. I'm looking for a crew willing to give a motivated junior a chance to prove himself and grow within the industry.
I'm flexible regarding location and itinerary, and available to travel at short notice.
