Dr Laurie Lash (in Australia, but happy to fly wherever!)
I am a fit, healthy, active, keen female sailor, having attained my Offshore Yachtmaster last year. (Photos current). I've sailed only for five years, but in that time I was on board a Mottle 33 for over three months exploring Indonesia with a friend, and later was one of a crew of four to do a Beneteau 50 delivery across the Pacific, from Galápagos Islands to Sydney, and with another crew of four crossing the Tasman via Lord Howe from Auckland NZ to Coffs Harbour and on to Batemans Bay, south of Sydney. More recently, I've sailed a Leopard from Darwin to PNG. I have my own yacht, a 38 ft Jeanneau SO, which I've sailed from Hobart to Southport, and campaign locally. I've my radio licence, SSS, first aid, and have twice done an RYA Diesel engine course.
Having come late to the world of sailing, I've still much to learn. I consider myself great crew but not yet a great sailor! I''m looking to sail just about anywhere with knowledgeable and experienced sailing people on a safely fitted-out vessel.
Hope to hear from you....L.
PS ... have not collected references, but am absolutely certain all previous skippers will swear by me:))
