We have lived and worked together on high-end luxury yachts for over nine years as a captain and chef team, and we are currently operating on a rotational schedule on a new 24m Sunreef. Our background includes extensive time on both private and charter vessels, with a strong emphasis on performance sailing, offshore passages, and exploring destinations off the beaten path. As a Captain, I am diligent, dynamic, and highly adaptable, with experience sailing in the Mediterranean, the Baltic, the Caribbean, and multiple Atlantic crossings. I hold a Yachtmaster Ocean qualification, along with AEC 1 and AEC 2, and I am a confident engineer with a hands-on approach to yacht systems and maintenance. I have project-managed three vessels from factory to launch, overseen flag registration, MCA Cat 2 safety inspections, warranty periods, and yard maintenance schedules.
