Crew available in Central America
Hello Sailors :)
I am Johannes Aigner (24) from Germany, looking for a crewing opportunity from Central America into the direction of the South Pacific or alternatively just local sailing.
My Experience in 2019/2020:
5 months on a 20m traditional wooden ketch helping out with the restauration, sailing and repairs
in the Baltic and North Sea.
1 month on 9m aluminium sailboat sailing the coast of Portugal and crossing to the Canaries.
1 month on 10m fibreglass sailboat with attempted Atlantic crossing. But our mast broke at sea, we had to cut it away and were able to motor back to the Canaries.
2 weeks on 14m steel expedition sailboat from the Canaries to Azores.
1 week on 20m aluminium sailboat from Azores to Brest.
What I can offer you:
I am happy to help with standing night watches, keeping the boat tidy, maintainence, repairs, getting creative in the kitchen, chores , I know how to respectfully live with people in thight cuarters, don't get seasick easily, and I know how to handle dangerous situations at sea. A contribution is possible.
Right now I am travelling with my girlfriend Erica (23) from Portugal. She does not have any sailing experience yet but is an openly spirited and super motivated to learn and to grow on her first sailing journey.
Would love to hear back from you;
Jojo :)
