Experienced sailor, looking for a recreational mile building or competent crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm an experienced yachtie, with a Coastal Yachtmaster certificate. I used to own a Beneteau Oceanis that I sailed in offshore waters along the East Coast of Australia -- I've done plenty of skippering as well as crewing. I'm interested in finding a recreational mile building or competent crew or even novice crew position in August -- in South East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand) or the South Pacific. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Unfortunately, we've had to make a change of plans, due to serious illness in the (pet) family. We've had to put off sailing for the foreseeable future -- at least until later this year. Thanks to all who responded. Hopefully we will be back in a few months.
